Health Care Assistant

About the Role

Assists elderly, recovering, or disabled service users with the activities of daily living. 

Offers support and companionship to service users. Helps service users handle day-to-day self-care, such as toileting and hygiene. Communicates with families of service users to apprise them of the service users’ condition and progress. Advises service users and families on nutrition, hygiene, household activities, and other appropriate areas.

Complex Care Healthcare Assistant

We would require our carers to; 

  • Monitor our service users wellbeing
  • Support our service users with personal care
  • Administer medication where required
  • Prompt therapeutic relationships with our service users
  • Encourage the clients to develop therapeutic relationships
  • Maintenance daily records and documentation

Complex care Nurse (RGN) band 5&6

We would require our Nurses to: 

  • Passionate about providing care
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Have a ‘hands on’ and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Able to assist service users with their medical and welfare needs, and report as required
  • Safeguard service users
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a good team player
  • A genuine desire to make a real difference in people’s lives
  • Treats patients who are sick or injured, gives advice and emotional support to patients and their families, provides doctor assistance, and takes care of patient paperwork.

Care coordinator

Role-specific Duties: 

The Care Coordinator’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Ensure service users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
  • To supervise staff and ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the  service
  • To organise and coordinate care delivery in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and  relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager and within the financial plans
  • Ensure that the care service is delivered to service users at the times and for the duration specified in the relevant individual agreement(s) and contract standards
  • Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals  supported by the service
